One of the aims of Yoga is to circulate Energy into our soul & body. In Sanskrit we call that vital energy “Prana”. Also referred to as life-force, vital-force, breath of life. Prana is the nourishment for the soul. It is abundant in nature, seas & mountains especially. We all feed from that Prana just by breathing & also generate some, like everything that is alive. Some activities like a yoga practice, will generate a great amount of Prana. Like the energy to a battery, as our soul is fully charged, the body is full of vitality, age slower than the norm, remains healthy etc…

L’un des objectifs du yoga est de faire circuler l’énergie dans notre âme et notre corps. En sanskrit, nous appelons cette énergie vitale “Prana”. On la nomme aussi force vitale ou souffle de la vie. Le Prana est la nourriture de l’âme. Il est abondant davantage dans la nature, les mers et les montagnes. Nous nous alimentons tous de ce Prana simplement par la respiration et nous en générons aussi, comme tout ce qui est vivant. Certaines activités comme la pratique du Yoga, génèrent une grande quantité de Prana. Comme l’énergie d’une batterie, lorsque notre âme en est complètement chargée, le corps est plein de vitalité. Le vieillissent devient plus lent que la norme, on reste en bonne santé, etc …

 

See it / Voyez-le:

Many of us can perceive Prana, sometimes without knowing it. It is like micro balls of light floating in the air. Easy to see when you look through a certain angle of a sunbeam, or on the reflexion of water, or after performing a very demanding Yoga pose.

Beaucoup d’entre nous peuvent percevoir le Prana, parfois sans le savoir. Il s’agit de micro sphères de lumière flottant dans l’air. Il est facile à voir quand vous regardez à travers un certain angle d’un rayon de soleil, ou sur la réflexion de l’eau, ou après l’exécution d’une pose de Yoga très exigeante.

 

Feel it / Ressentez-le:

This pure energy can be felt like a gentle flow of electricity, especially at the centre of the palm of the hands, like a magnetic field. You will feel it instantly simply by rubbing your hands together & expand the distance between your palms.

Cette énergie pure peut être ressentie comme un léger flux d’électricité, surtout au centre des paumes de mains, comme un champ magnétique. Vous le sentirez instantanément en frottant simplement vos mains ensemble et en élargissant ensuite la distance entre vos paumes.

 

Seal it / Scellez-le:

In order to increase your level of vibration, it is primordial that we consciously seal the Prana that we generated within us. Energy escapes a lot from the finger tips or the crown of the head. That is why we make Mudras, bringing the fingers together, so that the Prana comes back directly into the soul & body. The description of each Mudra & their use will be published soon. Bounded Yoga poses create the same effect of a seal & are therefore, some of the most powerful poses of the Yogic practice. For example, the “Royal poses” with the foot to head allows the energy that flows from the crown to come back into the feet directly, generating an infinite circle of energy.

Another important aspect for sealing Prana, is simply taking the time to stop to feel it, embrace it, acknowledge it. As our vibration only elevates, but sometimes falls of balance, with only one breath, we can come back to our true state of vibration, by simply remembering the moment where it was at its finest & reconnecting with it.

Afin d’augmenter notre niveau de vibration, il est primordial de sceller consciemment le Prana que nous avons créé en nous. L’énergie s’échappe beaucoup du bout des doigts et de la couronne de la tête. Voilà pourquoi nous faisons Mudras, amenant les doigts ensembles, de sorte que le Prana revienne directement dans le corps et l’âme. La description de chaque Mudra et leur utilisation sera publié bientôt. Les postures de Yoga nouées agissent aussi tel un mudra mais avec le corps entier. C’est pour cela qu’elles consistent souvent parmi les postures les plus puissantes de la pratique du yoga. Par exemple, les “poses royales” avec le pied à la tête, permettent à l’énergie qui s’échappe de la couronne de revenir dans les pieds directement, créant un cercle infini d’énergie.

Un autre aspect important pour scellez le Prana, est simplement de prendre le temps de s’arrêter pour le ressentir, l’embrasser, le reconnaître. Comme notre vibration ne fait que s’élever, mais parfois vient hors d’équilibre, avec une seule respiration, nous pouvons revenir à notre véritable vibration, en se rappelant simplement le moment où elle était à son plus fort, en renouant avec elle.

72 000 NadisNadis

Describe them / Décrivez-les:

Acupuncture calls them Meridians, in Sankrit we call them Nadis. They are the 72 000 energy lines / channels of the soul & body. In the traditional Chinese medicine, they plant the needles into these lines to evacuate the toxins. In yoga, we simply consciously breathe into the Nadis, to circulate Prana. We also align them different ways, by placing our bodies in different positions into space, focusing the energy in different parts of the soul & body. Of course the benefits of the postures are also enhanced by massaging the muscles, the endocrine system & vital organs.

There are 108 principal Nadis, that is why Mantras are chanted 108 times during Japa. So chanting is another way of consciously elevating our inner vibration & by circulating Prana into the Nadis. 108 is very a cosmic number, since the circumference of the sun is 108 times the circumference of the earth and the distance between the two is 108 times the diameter of the sun. Plus, the average distance between the earth and the moon is 108 times the diameter of the moon. Finally, silver which in astrology is the metal symbolizing the moon, has an atomic weight of 108.

NadisThree of those Nadis are the major ones. Originating from the pelvic floor to the crown of the head, at the core of the body, just in front of the spine. The central Nadi, “Suchumna” is strait and represent the neutral channel of energy. Two other Nadis are wrapped around the central one, like the structure of DNA. “Pingala” represents the solar, masculine channel of positive polarity & “Ida” represents the lunar, feminine channel of negative polarity. Each time those 3 Nadis crosses each other, they create a centre or wheel of energy, what we call the “Chakras”.

L’acupuncture les appelle méridiens, en Sankrit nous les appelons Nadis. Ce sont les 72 000 lignes d’énergie / canaux de l’âme et du corps. Dans la médecine traditionnelle chinoise, ils plantent des aiguilles dans ces lignes pour évacuer les toxines. En yoga, nous respirons simplement consciemment dans les Nadis pour y faire circuler le Prana. Nous les alignons également de différentes façons, en plaçant nos corps dans de multiples positions dans l’espace, en se concentrant sur l’énergie dans les différentes parties de l’âme et du corps. Bien sûr, les avantages des postures sont également renforcées par un massage des muscles, du système endocrinien et des organes vitaux.

Il y a 108 Nadis principaux, c’est pourquoi les Mantras sont chantés 108 fois au cours d’un Japa. Le chant est donc une autre façon d’élever consciemment notre vibration intérieure en faisant circuler dans le Prana Dans les Nadis. 108 est un nombre très cosmique, puisque la circonférence du soleil est 108 fois celle de la terre, ainsi que la distance entre les 2 est de 108 fois le diamètre du soleil. Trois de ces Nadis sont majeurs. Ils prennent naissance dans le plancher pelvien jusqu’à la couronne de la tête, au cœur du tronc, juste devant la colonne vertébrale. Le Nadi central, “Suchumna” est droit et représente le canal neutre d’énergie. Deux autres Nadis sont enroulés autour de celui-ci, reproduisant la structure de l’ADN. “Pingala” représente le canal masculin, solaire, de polarité positive et “Ida” représente le canal lunaire, féminin, de polarité négative. Chaque fois que ces trois Nadis se croisent, ils créent un centre, une roue de l’énergie, ce que nous appelons les “Chakras”.

 

Feel them / Ressentez-les:

Sitting in meditation after a flow of Yoga postures is the best time to feel the Prana circulating freely into the Nadis. As you remain completely still, you are able to sense the subtile movements of energy inside your soul. And when the energies align into Ida & Pingala especially, as those are revolving Nadis, they will lead the body into an uncontrollable gentle movement of swirling. So if this happens to you, just allow it to be! It means your soul & body are in unity.

Assis en méditation, après un flot de postures de Yoga est le meilleur moment pour ressentir le Prana circuler librement dans les Nadis. En restant complètement immobile, vous êtes en mesure de décerner les mouvements subtils de l’énergie à l’intérieur de votre âme. Quand les énergies s’alignent dans Ida et Pingala en particulier, puisque ces Nadis sont en spirale, ils mènent le corps dans un léger mouvement de tourbillonnement incontrôlable. Donc, si cela vous arrive, laissez-vous aller! Cela signifie que votre âme et votre corps sont unifié.

 

Utilize them / Utilisez-les:

Again, as your awareness arises, you’ll be more & more sensitive to the passage of energy. So keep this in mind also while doing your Asanas. Especially the most powerful ones like inversions & backbends. You really want to get to a point where you can relax in stillness into each pose, to feel the Prana moving into the Nadis. Until one day, you can feel the pulsations originating from the heart Chakra to the edges of your soul, whether you are yoga-ing or not.

Précisons encore que lorsque notre conscience s’élève, nous sommes de plus en plus sensible au passage de l’énergie. Donc, gardez cela à l’esprit tout en faisant vos Asanas. En particulier les plus puissantes comme des inversions et flexions arrières. Vous voulez vraiment arriver à un point où vous pouvez vous détendre complètement dans chaque posture, afin de sentir le Prana circuler dans les Nadis. Jusqu’au jour ou vous sentirez les pulsations provenant du Chakra du cœur jusqu’aux limites de votre âme, que vous yoga-ez ou non.

Describe them / Décrivez-les:

Chakra means wheel, they are portrayed as lotus made of light with a various number of petals, colours & symbolic. Each of them is related to different parts of the body, vital organs & glands. They govern different energetic aspects of life. If that aspect is mastered & in balance, the Chakra is open & spins normally. A blockage of energy or imbalance will cause the petals of the Chakra to close or to spin irregularly, preventing all the above Chakras to function properly.

Chakra signifie roue, ils sont dépeints comme des lotus de lumière avec divers nombres de pétales, couleurs et symboliques. Chacun d’entre-eux est lié à différentes parties du corps, organes vitaux et glandes. Ils régissent différents aspects énergétique de la vie. Si cet aspect est maîtrisé et en équilibre, le Chakra est ouvert et tourne normalement. Un blocage ou déséquilibre énergétique entraîne les pétales du Chakra à fermer ou à tourner de façon irrégulière, empêchant tous les Chakras ce trouvant au-dessus de fonctionner correctement.

 

Feel them / Ressentez-les:

Simply after a bit of breathing exercises, in order to draw your attention inward, just hover the palm of your hand over each Chakra (locations specified below). You will feel a current of energy, heat, force moving from the Chakra into your hand. If you don’t feel anything, stay calm, you might just need to increase your sensitivity to energy. Although, if you feel the energy into the lower Chakras & not the upper ones, find at which Chakra does it starts to block. It is a sign that you need to open & balance it, so that the energy can circulate freely in the upper Chakras.

Après quelques exercices de respirations simples, afin de concentrer votre attention vers l’intérieur, passez la paume de votre main au-dessus de chaque Chakra (emplacements spécifiés ci-dessous). Vous sentirez un courant d’énergie, une chaleur, une force provenant du Chakra jusque dans votre main. Si vous ne sentez rien, restez calme, vous pourriez avoir besoin d’augmenter votre sensibilité à l’énergie. Bien que, si vous sentez l’énergie dans les chakras inférieurs et non les supérieurs, trouvez à quel Chakra l’énergie commence à bloquer. Il s’agit d’un signe que vous avez besoin de l’ouvrir et de l’équilibrer, de sorte que l’énergie puisse circuler librement dans les Chakras supérieurs.

 

Open & Balance them / Ouvrez & Équilibrez-les:

Find in the list below, which aspect the Chakras governs to understand what creates the blockage. The first step to balance it, is to acknowledge the symbolic of the lack of energy into the soul. Then breathe, do some Yoga moves that are specific to open that Chakra. For example, if Anahata, the heart Chakra is off balance, your chosen poses will need to be a chest opener like the Camel pose. Another way is simply keeping the palm of your hand above the Chakra & visualize its petals of light blooming, feeding it with the Prana from within your hands. Chanting is also very good, especially the the sound of each Chakra’s very vibration, which we call the Bija Mantras.

Trouver dans la liste ci-dessous, quel aspect que chaque Chakras gouverne afin de comprendre ce qui crée le blocage. La première étape pour l’équilibrer, est de reconnaître la symbolique du manque d’énergie dans l’âme. Puis respirez, faites quelques mouvements de yoga qui sont spécifiques pour ouvrir ce Chakra. Par exemple, si Anahata, le Chakra du cœur est hors d’équilibre, vos poses choisies devront ouvrir la poitrine, comme la posture du chameau. Une autre façon est tout simplement de garder la paume de votre main au-dessus du Chakra et de visualiser ses pétales de lumière s’épanouirent, en l’alimentant de Prana à partir de vos mains. Le chant est aussi très effectif, surtout le son de la vibration de chaque Chakra, que nous appelons les Bijas Mantras.

 

List of Chakras & their properties / Liste des Chakras & leurs propriétés:

The most known chakras among the Sushumna Nadi (central energy line) are listed at 7. Some new schools of thoughts give them an 8th one at the tailbone, which I personally can identify to, as my very own experience of Chakras came about 10 years before I even read anything about them. All I could see is that, as would start to consciously breathe & circulate energy into my soul & body, I could see shapes of light that looked like coloured petals, blooming and turning. And I definitely felt an 8th energy centre, where the Prana would flow from the crown of the head to the base of the spine.

Also note that colours & number of petals may vary from one school of thought to the other. Remember that both knowledge and humans evolves through the years, nothing is written in stone in terms of energy, we each can experience something similar yet different. Your body of light is in constant movement & is as unique as your body of flesh, still with the same structure as all humans.

Les Chakras connus tout au long du Sushumna Nadi (ligne centrale d’énergie) sont au nombre de sept. Quelques nouvelles écoles de pensées font mention d’un huitième Chakras au niveau du cossus. Courant auquel je peux m’identifier personnellement, puisque ma propre expérience des Chakras est venu plus de 10 ans avant même que j’acquière toute connaissance sur eux. Tout ce que je pouvais voir est que, en respirant & en faisant consciemment et circuler l’énergie en moi, dans mon corps et mon âme, je pouvais voir des faisceaux de lumière coloré qui ressemblaient à des pétales, s’ouvrant et tournant. Et je sentais vraiment un centre d’énergie qui reliait la couronne de la tête à la base de la colonne vertébrale.

Notez également que les couleurs et nombre de pétales peuvent varier d’une école de pensée à l’autre. Rappelez-vous que la connaissance, ainsi que l’humain, évolue à travers les années, rien est écrit dans la pierre en terme d’énergie, chacun de nous peut ressentir quelque chose de similaire et à la fois différent. Votre corps de lumière est en mouvement constant et est aussi unique que votre corps de chair, toujours avec la même structure que celle de tous les êtres humains.

Hello beautiful Yogis, happy to share some of the latest work of art with you. Through the creation of this photoshoot I wanted to reiterate the fact that beauty & mastery are timeless. We reinvented some classic Yoga poses with ethereal qualificatives. My mom has been a great inspiration through all my life & I feel very bless to be able to share the passion of Yoga and even Acro Yoga with her. If she can do it at 60 and my friend Patrice at 50, there is a lot of people out there not knowing what they are capable of… The key is just have to try, no matter what is it you want to try!!!

Bonjour cher yogis, heureux de partager ma dernière création avec vous. Avec ce photoshoot je voulais réitérer le fait que la beauté et la maîtrise sont intemporel. Nous avons réinventé quelque peu des postures classiques du yoga, leur donnant des qualificatifs éthérées. Ma mère a été une grande inspiration à travers toute ma vie et je me sens très privilégié pour pouvoir partager la passion du yoga et même Acro Yoga avec elle. Si elle peut le faire à 60 et mon ami Patrice à 50, il y a beaucoup de gens sur terre ne sachant pas ce dont ils sont capables… Alors il ne reste plus qu’à essayer, peu importe ce qu’il vous plaît d’essayer!!!

They share
We care
& Everyone connects with it’s Infinite Divinity…

As I Yoga & master my body, I master my mind
As you Yoga & masters your mind, you master your life
As he Yogas & masters his life, he Xperiences the Divine
As she Yogas, she lets the Prana in on each Inhale
As they Yoga, they Xpand their souls on each Xhale
As we Yoga, we circulate & create Prana, the Breath of Life, the Life-Force, the Divine Energy

As I yoga, I let the Divine Energy guide my movements, my intentions
As you Yoga, you seal the harmony within you
As he Yogas, he elevates his state of well being
As She Yogas, she lets go of the past
As they Yoga, they let go of the future
As we Yoga & Xperience balance, we are in the present, in an elevated state of Being

As I yoga, I Am
As you Yoga, what you are, connects you with your higher consciousness
As he Yogas & connects with his higher consciousness, he sees the light
As she Yogas & sees the light, she sees the path
As they Yoga & see the path, they are Enlightened
As we Yoga & we are enlightened, we Unite

The Leisure Of The Soul- Complete Article

Namaste beautiful souls,

I will finally release the integral series of spiritual articles I wrote for the enlightened GLBT Kraven Magazine. For your pleasure & learnings, here is the “The Leisure Of The Soul”, first released in April 2013. Feel free to share & spread the wisdom.

The Leisure Of The Soul by Blu NathanWhat activities do you like to do for fun? No matter what it is, remember that there is always a possible spiritual way of enjoying it! Who said spirituality cannot be fun? Somehow, it makes you feel so good inside, and so alive, that it is truly enjoyable for your soul. After all, when you grow in the spiritual realm, when you achieve a new level of consciousness or vibration – you feel like celebrating!

Here are five different types of entertainments and the ethereal ways of embracing them. You should definitely consider trying them to enhance your level of pleasure and experience of life!

Music:
This medium contains the best aspects to elevate your soul. As we are music, it connects with our inner vibrations and can be very uplifting. When you listen to a track, feel the melody from within, feel it in your heart. Let it take you to a trance where you can expand your soul. My first trance was achieved by listening to “Rain” by Madonna. During the bridge, when the synth pad gets higher, I felt like my body was expanding, almost floating. I had chills all over and I felt so good. Choose your songs wisely, in order to match the vibration you want to experience.
The other beautiful thing in music is the words. They contain a message that the artists have for you. If you pay close enough attention, you’ll often find that the words are perfectly synchronised with your thoughts or your acts, and they may provide answers to your quest of the moment. I was once walking in a park at night. In a moment of embracing the energy of Mother Nature, I stopped to hug very tall tree in my arms. Then I wondered, “If that tree could talk, what would it say?” The music of the French singer Dalida was playing on my iPod, and at that very moment the song said: “And our eyes, cannot find sleep. How can a tree find sleep when it is on fire, leaning towards the sun?”

Movies and Books:
When you read a book or watch a good movie, are you like me, completely drawn and focused into the action? Does it seem like you are playing all the different characters and feeling their emotions and movements? Admit that you enjoyed seeing yourself as Neo when you watched the “Matrix”, Gandalf in the “Lord of the Rings”, or even Dory in “Finding Nemo”. These personages all have something in common with you or represent a certain part of you that you would like to express. Living the action is the best way to embrace all the beautiful messages that the cinematographers have created for you. There is, in every movie, something that you need to understand of this world and of yourself.
One of my favorites is “The Messenger: The Story of Joan of Arc”. My whole body was shaking the moment she led the warriors on the battlefield. I always get very emotional when I see those great fights on a silver screen, for my soul remembers the fights that I have led in past lives. Oh yes, I have a warrior’s soul, which has evolved today into a peaceful warrior. As for you, are there moments that you feel like you have already been in the action of some movies in real life?

Social Gatherings:
I love them! They provide a great way to connect with souls that you have encountered before – or those you encounter for the first time. You can benefit from beautiful energetic exchanges with good music and drinks. Oh yes, drinks can be spiritual. While they may have a delicious taste, they also bring inhibitions down. Therefore, you can more easily get in touch with the essence of everyone, even strangers, while they enjoy exposing their true selves. Of course keep in mind that drinking, like all things in life, remains good only if done in balance.
My favourite time of a gathering: when I start to read people’s palms! I am always curious to see the amazed look in the eyes of someone I just met, when I tell his or her path of life, talents, challenges and best qualities. They get so excited with this guidance that others line up for me to read their palms as well. Though I learned it intuitively, it is a power that we all possess. Remember, someone in that crowd, in every crowd, has a message for you – and you have a message for them too!

Sports:
Whether you’re at a gym, doing Yoga, dancing, doing acrobatics, on the floor or on a playing field, being in control of your body provides great fulfilment. That balance reaches your mind and your soul. Proper breathing is the key to feeding your muscles with oxygen and energy, in order to synch your movements and be at your best. Proper breathing will enhance your flexibility, strength and balance, which are an evolving process rather than an achievement. The more you practice, the greater your performances will be.
Get creative! Mix the different techniques that you know through the practice of a certain sport. After years of muscle training at the gym, I started to be bored of always repeating the same exercises day after day. For fun, I decided to try to lift weights in the tree pose of Yoga. Here I was training my shoulders, standing on one leg. At first I was a bit shy since I was not alone at the gym, but the fulfilment of being able to be such in control of my body was terrific. Plus I discovered that, by being in a Yoga pose while training, my breathing was more fluid and my movements were smooth like never before, so that every muscle, even the tiniest one, was getting the most of the training. Every time I find a new pose of Yoga-weight lifting, my soul is laughing from pure fun.

Sex:
Sexuality is the ultimate spiritual experience where all your sensations are fulfilled; your vision, your touch, your scent, your voice, your taste. It is the true and sacred connection and fusion of the bared bodies, where you give the best of yourself and receive the same from the other. There is a mutual attraction in every aspect of the two beings.
Kiss, moan, observe, enjoy and let your desires come true. Feel the connection in each other’s eyes. Feel the energy created by the contact of your skin. Feel the breath caressing your ears. Make it last or do it fast and do it again, but do it intensely. Feel the angelic part of you embracing the movements slowly. Feel the animal side of you devouring the movements roughly. Give, receive, listen to your body and to his or hers. In that moment, you two are one.

 

I hope that I have convinced you that the spiritual angle of entertainment rocks and that it will enhance your future experiences with synchronicity. Whether you are inside or embracing the beauty of the vibrant nature; on your own or surrounded by beautiful beings; in an active mode or in a relaxed state – enjoy every moment and feel the true leisure inside your soul. Once you get started, you can never go back!
